Anyone else notice that Jane is kind of a portmanteau of John and Jade?

This makes me think that the Strider-cestor will be named Rave. Don’t ask me why.

UNFOUNDED HOMESTUCK CONSPIRACY THEORIES - THE MIDNIGHT CREW INTERMISSION SPECIAL EDITION

There’s quite a bit of foreshadowing and overall WEIRD PLOT SHIT going on during the Midnight Crew intermission. Here’s a sample:

1. Check out Spades’ HEIST MAP. Those broken clocks look mighty familiar now, don’t they?
2. When DIE offs Spade with his TEMPORAL VOODOO FUCKERY, we see a universe where the Midnight Crew never made this town. Where have we seen those moons before?
3. When Spades first pulls out his Inventory item, the WAR CHEST, I thought it looked mighty familiar. Haven’t we seen something similar in Jade’s room?
4. Diamonds Droog’s inventory, the BRAWLSOLEUM, is even more familiar. There’s something a lot like it in Rose’s backyard.
5. Hearts Boxcar’s inventory, the WRATHTUB, really takes us back. Weren’t there a lot of bathroom fixtures flying around in John’s house at the beginning of the game?

THIS FUCKING NUMBER IS EVERYWHERE.

The game the Kids play is called Sburb. Its troll counterpart is called Sgrub.

John’s Pesterchum handle was originally ghostyTrickster. It is now ectoBiologist.

Notice the G/B replacement? Coincidence?

I THINK NOT.

The trolls are the Grimdark versions of the kids’ grandchildren (thus completing the entire circle of self-creation).
